Chris Sale has so many memories which are attached to Lakeland. In Lakeland, he spent his childhood. He cherishes so many memories with his father named Allan.
Chris always says that his father was the one who barely missed any baseball games of him.
Sale, in an interview with WEEI’s Rob Bradford, said that he always tries to connect his father with his own sons. Chris has a 9-year-old son Ryan, a 3-year-old son Brayson and a 3-month old son Camden.
Sale told that he wants to do similar things with his sons as his father did to him. Sale continued and said that this is quite difficult. He feels the offseason is like a sacred phase to him. He can do all those things which he couldn’t do while playing. He said that he takes his sons to baseball practice sessions. Moreover, he said that he provided his eldest son with golf lessons so that he can play with Sale or hang out with him and his pals.
Along with this, Sale said that being a major league player means that he often misses out on myriad things. He said that this thing is witnessed by his father, his mother, his family.
Not only this, but Sale said that he missed out on many things such as his kid’s first day of school, his son’s first league game, practices, and so on.
However, people always feel like the life of a sports player is amazing but there are always disadvantages of everything.
