Chris Sale is all set to face his former Chicago White Sox teammates.
Sale, in an interview, admitted that he would be a little of nervous. He also said that he is looking for this chance for any other emotion but fun.
Not only this, but he also said that he would be competing against his friends. He said that it might be difficult for him to not smile at a few of the members.
Sale admitted that he has no hard feelings towards the White Sox. Although, there were numerous high-profile clashes with the management while his final season in Chicago was going on.
Even after all this, Sale said that he appreciates his time spent with the Chicago. He also eulogized the coaching staff and his former team members.
After Sale left, John Quintana was given with the similar position.
On Tuesday, Sale and Quintana would be on the same field against each other.
This would be happening for the very first time in Sales’ eight-years-old career that Sales would oppose Chicago.
Meanwhile, Quintana said that Sales is one of the best teammates he has ever played with. He also said that the feeling would be totally different when Sales will go against him after the last four years when they both were team members.
The match would be an exciting one for all the Quintana and Chris Sales fans. For the first time in history, both will go against each other. The match would be filled with competition, friendship as well as nostalgia.
