Srinivas from Hyderabad is a troubled dad who found Twitter just when his child, 23-year-old Ramnagesh Akubathini, got captured on Wednesday, 10 November, for having tweeted an assault danger to the girl of Virat Kohli, chief of India’s cricket crew.
The dad, who is presently in Mumbai to help his child with the case says, “He committed an error.
He is prepared to apologize.” Mumbai police had captured Akubathini, an IIT-graduate and computer programmer, and moved him from Hyderabad to Mumbai upon the arrival of his capture.
Presently, Akubathini’s family keeps up with that his visual perception is “compromised” due to which he might have “unintentionally sent the accidental tweet”.
Addressing The Quint, the dad who is an expert at Medak’s Ordinance manufacturing plant – a Central government foundation – said, “I realized nothing about this till the police went to our home.
I didn’t realize that there is something many refer to as Twitter. I would have directed my child better if I realized that he was being oppressive on the web.” Akubathini ought not have composed the message, “which got coincidentally sent”, in any case, he said.
The tweet containing rape threat was tragic and should not be posted. The pain felt by Virat’s family due to the tweet is unimaginable.
